&lt;p&gt;A firmware engineering project at &lt;strong&gt;MineSense Technologies Ltd.&lt;/strong&gt; (Jan–Dec 2023), developing embedded systems for autonomous multi-robot coordination in industrial mining environments. The suite handles real-time navigation, obstacle avoidance, and inter-robot communication.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Developed and maintained embedded C firmware for robot control systems, with a focus on reliability, low-latency response, and hardware-level correctness across the robot fleet.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3 id=&#34;slam-sensor-integration&#34;&gt;SLAM Sensor Integration&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Integrated SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) sensor suites for real-time navigation and obstacle avoidance, enabling robots to map and operate in unstructured industrial environments without pre-built maps.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3 id=&#34;motion--stability-control&#34;&gt;Motion &amp;amp; Stability Control&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Designed motion and stability control algorithms calibrated for the physical dynamics of mining equipment, ensuring safe and precise movement under varying load and terrain conditions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3 id=&#34;communication-protocols&#34;&gt;Communication Protocols&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Designed robot-to-robot and robot-to-central-system communication protocols for coordinated multi-agent behaviour, including fault-tolerant messaging and state synchronization across the fleet.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3 id=&#34;regression-testing&#34;&gt;Regression Testing&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Validated system reliability and safety through systematic testing and debugging cycles, building regression suites to catch regressions introduced during iterative firmware development.&lt;/p&gt;
